Watercolor and Oil painting workshops are held at the Montgomery Village Art Supply and also the Santa Rosa Junior College Community Education Department. Some classes go on for weeks and others are one day workshops. I also teach a three day workshop at my studio in the summer. See below...

 OIL or Acrylic- PAINT THE LANDSCAPE   on location at a local lake park, or will be held a the JC if raining. (Fall colors-water reflections and trees.) Saturday, OCTOBER 24, 10:00-3:30-One day workshops. Enjoy a painterly approach while creating studies in composition, values and color schemes.  Do a finished painting in the afternoon. $86.

Sketching People In Public Places Workshop:  Begins Oct 27th in studio at the JC and then meets for four meetings at Jazz/blues clubs, coffee shops, symphony, fairs, etc. Check dates in the Fall SRJC Community Ed catalog or  view online (see above address). (no grades-just fun)  All levels.  Complete information upon registration.

2009 SUMMER WORKSHOPS:  May 23-  Oil-Paint the landscape,  10-3:30,  Meet at local park.  Learn the basics of composition, color and value patterns with paint along demonstrations.  Finish an afternoon painting.

May 30,   Intermediate watercolor, noon-6 pm, Held at Village Art Supply, Montgomery Village, S.R.  Learn to paint a landscape as well as still life florals.  Painterly style encouraged. Demonstrations and paint-alongs.

June 2-3rd, 10-3:30 Annual watercolor workshop at my studio and nearby lavender garden. 

June 27. 10-3:30-  Watercolor Meditation,  held at the SRJC. Paint in the garden and studio.  Learn painting and meditation techniques. All levels

July 23 10-3:30,  Paint the landscape,  Meet at a local park to paint trees, water and reflections.  All Levels.
