This watercolor painting was done at yosemite during one of Donna's artist trips.
Donna puts together special adventures for non-artists and artists. They take Amtrak from Martinez Caifornia to Yosemite, with pick ups in Sonoma County.

One of her most memorable trips was a moonlite evening to paint. The open air tram tour drove by waterfalls, moonlit granite rocks within the valley floor and hills of Yosemite.

For six years we have traveled and painted at Yosemite during Spring and Fall. We stay at the Yosemite Lodge, have a special lunch at the Ahwahnee Restaurant, a one hour valley tour of the waterfalls, Half Dome and up to the Tunnel Overlook.
This year the falls were gushing!!

I have taken a break from the Yosemite workshops and doing some personal travels, however I am planning to do some travel teaching in the near future and this will include workshops in Yosemite.  If you have an interest in oil or watercolor painting workshops, send me an e mail and I will add your name to my contact list.
